It’s my five year anniversary of moving to Australia!

On May 31 2018, I flew to Sydney on a Working Holiday Visa and honestly didn’t think I would still be living here in 2023. But here we are!

Australia is an incredible place to live, and I’ve had so many fun adventures during my time here.

I don’t plan on leaving any time soon, but I do love to spend time reflecting on all the memories.

To celebrate 5 years of living in New South Wales, I’ve decided to make a photo diary.

Many of these photos have featured on my blog before, but I wanted to put them all in one place like a digital photo album. This is mainly for my own entertainment, but hopefully others may find these photos inspiring!

Why I Love New South Wales, Australia

New South Wales is packed with so much beauty and diversity.

From big cities like Sydney and Wollongong, to charming small towns like Tilba Tilba, Thirroul, and Port Stephens, to all the national parks, scenic drives, and pristine beaches in between, I’ve literally never been bored while living here.

I’ve spent most of my time living around the Sydney area, but I’ve done road trips down to Melbourne in Victoria and up to Noosa in Queensland.

So whether I’m traveling along the entire coastline or just going on day trips around home, there is always something gorgeous to see in New South Wales!
